Our Collaborative Approach

We co-create strategies and programs directly with coffee farmers, ensuring solutions are rooted in community strengths, needs, and aspirations.

Our approach is built around the five key steps, with direct collaboration with farmers and their communities at every stage:

1. Due Diligence

We assess the community’s need for our work and evaluate whether Food 4 Farmers’ approach aligns with their goals and potential for collaboration.

2. Interview the Community

We engage directly with farmers and their families to understand their unique challenges, strengths, and aspirations related to food security and livelihoods.

3. Co-Design the Program

We work hand-in-hand with the community and local partners to create tailored, sustainable programs that address their specific needs and priorities.

4. Co-Implement the Program

We engage directly with farmers and their families to understand their unique challenges, strengths, and aspirations related to food security and livelihoods.

5. Evaluate the Program

We measure the program’s impact and gather feedback from the community and partners to refine and improve future initiatives.

Our Theory of Change

At Food 4 Farmers, our Theory of Change outlines the steps we take to help coffee-farming families break cycles of food insecurity by building sustainable, resilient food systems; it’s a roadmap that defines the strategies, actions, and outcomes needed to achieve lasting impact.
